Arnell-West, Inc. is a Salt Lake City-based commercial construction company that began doing business in 1986. The owners, Jason Arnell and Arnold West, both Salt Lake City natives, met in the Construction Management program at Arizona State University. After completing school, both returned home to Salt Lake and worked for local construction companies. In 1986, they decided to join forces and open their own construction company, forming Arnell-West, Inc.
Because of limited capital, the company’s early work was in the tenant improvement market. Such a market helped Arnell-West be aggressive and competitive in their estimates. They learned to find good quality subcontractors to perform excellent work for the best possible price.
Arnell-West has grown from a small tenant improvement contractor to one of the leading commercial general contractors in the State of Utah. Arnell-West has been ranked by The Construction Monitor and Enterprise Magazine as one of the top general contractors in the State of Utah.
